Welcome to The Dambwa Trust School
With support from The Inouye Family Foundation, The Dambwa Trust School educates orphans and vulnerable children in Livingstone, Zambia, many who have lost parents to HIV/AIDS.

About the school:
- Founded in 2003 when members of a Dambwa neighborhood church noticed children living on the streets, or with relatives or friends, & not attending school.
- Begun as a volunteer effort, the school now employs eleven teachers & staff, assisted by African Impact volunteers.
- The school educates 200+ children from nursery school through grade seven.
- Enrollment is voluntary and free, and students are eager to attend.
- This year, 100% of the school's 7th graders passed Zambia's rigorous exams to advance to high school.
- The school now receives additional support from Zambian NGO's such as ZINGO and CHAZ, and from the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church in Dambwa.
